As president and chief executive officer of Collier Enterprises and Collier Investments, Donald E. Huffner leads the acquisitions, development and management teams that provide guidance and direction to all family companies and investments. With more than 30 years of experience, he is well-versed in all aspects of real estate investment and development and has focused on building high-performance teams and developing trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Prior to joining Collier Enterprises, Mr. Huffner was a senior managing director at AIG Global Real Estate, where he led efforts to reboot the company’s real estate investment programs. He has also held positions as senior vice president for Equity Office, where he oversaw the operations of a 23.2-million-square-foot office and retail portfolio, and as Midwest regional president of the Galbreath Company. He has served on the boards of various organizations, including The Immokalee Foundation, Florida Council of 100 and National Multifamily Housing Council. Mr. Huffner graduated with honors from the University of Cincinnati with degrees in accounting and finance.
